The Centenary Action Group (CAG), is a group of over 80 women’s organisations which have come together, under the banner of the centenary of women’s suffrage, to campaign for better rights for women, worldwide.
This group met on 26th February in Parliament, chaired by Helen Pankhurst, to discuss how to move forward effectively. Both Julie and Laura, co-founders of Nisa-Nashim attended making it clear that Jewish and Muslim women are not only represented but showing other women that we can be, and are friends and sisters in this shared endeavour.
