After months of preparation, it was truly moving to gather – both in person at Al Manaar and online – to connect, reflect, and strengthen our shared commitment to deeper dialogue and understanding.
From our opening reflections and candle-lighting ceremony to the thought-provoking conversation on gendered Islamophobia and antisemitism and the session with Solutions not Sides, the day was filled with courage, compassion, and hope. Together, we modelled what it means to have sensitive conversations, to listen deeply, and to move forward with empathy and purpose.
Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously – our speakers, volunteers, and each of you who brought your full selves to the space. A special thank you to Al Manaar Cultural Centre for hosting us so warmly, and to everyone who helped make the day possible.
We were also delighted that our gathering was featured on Sky News, BBC, and will appear in print media later in the week, highlighting the importance of Jewish–Muslim connection and collaboration at a national level.
