Nearly 200 Jewish and Muslim women registered for a vigil on Sunday 22nd October to pray for peace and for the victims of the current conflict in Israel/Palestine on line.  With only 100 spaces it was first come, first served and the level of interest was unprescdented and remarkable.

Women from both faiths heard Dr Zaza Johnson Elsheikh and Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers recite prayers, Hifsa Haroon-Iqbal and Katie Hainbach sing songs and Julie Siddiqi offer some reflections.  Led by Laura Marks, co-founder of Nisa-Nashim, women lit candles and paused to pray, to cry and to hope for peace.
