During the blessed month of Ramadan, Nisa-Nashim had the privilege of attending a wide range of community iftars across the UK, each one offering a powerful reminder of the strength found in connection, hospitality, and shared values. From intimate gatherings to larger interfaith events, we were warmly welcomed into spaces where people of all backgrounds came together to break the fast, share stories, and build understanding.
These evenings reflected the heart of what Nisa-Nashim stands for. They created opportunities for Jewish and Muslim women, alongside wider communities, to deepen relationships, challenge assumptions, and celebrate both common ground and respectful difference. Whether through conversation over a shared meal, moments of reflection, or simply being present with one another, each iftar contributed to a growing sense of trust and solidarity.
We are deeply grateful to all the organisations and individuals who hosted us and opened their doors so generously. Ramadan continues to be a meaningful time for strengthening bonds and nurturing the friendships that sit at the core of our work.
