On 16 October about half a dozen women from Nisa-Nashim West Midlands joined our sister Fatemeh at the weekly protests in support of Iranian women’s freedom in Birmingham city centre. They joined about 200 people gathering to sing and chant, and walk together up the busy pedestrianised street. “It was moving to see such passionate support among Iranian men as well as women, and we were welcomed and thanked for joining them. Say her name, say her name, Mahsa Amini!”
