The Czech Scrolls are a collection of torah scrolls stolen by the Nazis – probably for posterity – and discovered after the War. Many were distributed but a sizeable group remain stored and cared for at Westminster Synagogue. After an event hosted by Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and March of the Living, on 12th September we visited the scrolls and learned about their extraordinary history
