🌙✨ What a beautiful evening of togetherness at JW3 — our Interfaith Iftar on Thursday 26 February 2026! ✨🌙
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this special night possible. Nisa-Nashim, JW3 and The New Citizens Gateway planned the event together, and JW3 warmly hosted 100 guests from all faiths. It was a joyful celebration of what unites us — friendship, food and shared learning.
Special thanks to:
– Doreen and Rukhsana, our wonderful compères for the evening, who guided the programme with elegance.
– Farida and the volunteers from The New Citizens Foundation for the delicious cooking. 🍲
– Clare, Amy, Adam, Anaelle and the JW3 volunteers for their tireless planning and on-the-night support that created such a welcoming atmosphere.
– Julie, Laura, Denise, Lindsay, Ahmereen, Lenna, Laurie and many other Nisa-Nashim sisters for their warmth and presence.
– Camden Council and the councillors for their support.
We were honoured to have Sheykh Ibrahim Moghra open our fast with wise words and lead the prayers. Julie and Lindsay shared inspiring insights about their collaborative work, and Laura beautifully spoke about Nisa-Nashim’s beginnings and mission. The children loved their special play and colouring area, and the food received rave reviews — so much positive feedback afterwards! 🎨🧡
Thank you to everyone who joined — Muslims, Jews Christians and friends of other faiths — for spending the evening together and celebrating our common humanity. Let’s carry this spirit of friendship forward! 🤝💫
