Julie and Lindsay went together to watch ‘Stranger / Sister’, a movie by the Sisterhood of Salam and Shalom, our American family.
The screening was in a beautiful setting, Westminster Abbey, and apparently Atiya, the Muslim co-founder of the SOSS in the US, found it very moving to watch it in such a venue, considering her British roots.
We have been told that the film was presented beautifully, and the discussion on shared values that followed was even better. Make sure to watch it!
Laura and Anna went to the North London Screening instead. The turnout was phenomenal and when they met with SoSS cofounder Atiya, they felt like little sisters apparently.
